Dressember is a "collaborative movement, leveraging fashion and creativity to restore dignity to all women."Our school participates in this, and teams of students wear a dress every day for 31 days. I participated in Dressember 2015 and I felt very empowered. I wanted to engage more meaningfully, to remind myself and others to value life, to be open-minded, and to care more about the society that we live in. In order to keep motivated in the spirit of Dressember, and to inform others, I decided to write a motivational message each day, and to post it on Instagram. I also styled my outfits each day, drew the outfits for drawing practice, and took creative photos documenting my Dressember experiences.
